Support at Home Classification 7 provides $59,776.80 per year, paid as $14,944.20 per quarter. This classification is for older Australians who need intensive daily multidisciplinary care. What you pay towards services depends on the type of care and on your income and assets: clinical supports are fully funded, while independence and everyday living services attract a contribution. A further 10% of the budget goes to care management — coordinating your care, not an extra cost to you.

The 10% care management deduction is fixed by the Support at Home program — it does not vary by provider. Co-payments for independence and everyday living services are additional.

This is your ongoing services budget — one of four Support at Home funding streams. Two others don't touch it at all: the Restorative Care Pathway is funded over and above this budget, and the End-of-Life Pathway is accessed instead of it for that period.
